Up 13-4 with just over 19 minutes left to play, the Bobcats held on and survived a late push to defeat Wagner 15-11 and remain perfect in NEC play.  The Seahawks got as close as four but Devon Gibney scored twice in the final six minutes to keep the game just out of reach.

The game was low scoring, the Bobcats (7-4, 6-0) led 6-3 at the half, before the offenses exploded in the second half.  The Bobcats used a 7-1 run in the second half to open up a 13-4 lead.  Jane Moldovan’s first career goal capped the run.  The Bobcats withstood a 7-2 run by the Seahawks to close the game and escape with the win.

Gibeny led the Bobcats attack with four goals and two assists while Katie Latonick and Lauren Matuszczak each added two goals.  Latonick and Matszczak added two and three assists respectively.

The Bobcats have won six in a row.
