After falling behind 5-0 after just two innings, the Bobcats couldn’t muster enough offense to come back at UConn.  The Huskies score three times in the first and never looked back.

Huskie Julianne Towers capped the Huskies’ quick attack with a two-run home run in the second.

The Bobcats (18-18) started a comeback in the fourth, scoring twice.  Kelly Wall drove in Alex Alba and then Emily Bellush followed with a double to bring in Kim Brzezinski to cut the lead to three.

But the Huskies tacked on another run in the bottom of the inning and again in the fifth to take a five run lead again.

The Bobcats scored their third run on a double steal in the sixth.  Once again it was Alba scoring from third.
