With two seconds left Jack Oppenheimer scored what appeared to be the game tying goal but the referees waved it off, saying it came after time had expired.  It is the second straight loss for the Bobcats and second straight in which they squandered a lead in the second half.

The Bobcats (4-3) led Hartford 9-5 with just over 14 minutes to play but the Hawks scored the final five goals to steal a win.  This is the second straight game in which the Bobcats have given up five goals in the fourth quarter and squander a lead.

Aiden Genik scored with a minute and a half left to give the Hawks their first lead since late in the second quarter.  Genik led the Hawks with three goals and an assist.

Oppenheimer led the Bobcats with two goals and an assist, while Christian Haggerty added a goal and three assists.
