For the second straight game, the Bobcats relied on a ninth inning homerun to send them to victory.  On Wednesday it was Brian Monack providing the heroics against Yale.  On Friday Gabe Guerino played hero, blasting a two run homerun to right in the top on the ninth to give the Bobcats (8-24, 7-6 NEC) an 11-10 victory over Central Connecticut State University.

The Bobcats jumped on Blue Devil starter Jason Foster, going up 6-4 after three innings.  But the Blue Devils’ bullpen held the Bobcats’ offense in check just enough to allow the Blue Devils to take the lead in 10-9 in the eighth.

But in the ninth, Guerino came through in the clutch, lifting the Bobcats to victory.

Guerino finished the day 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored.  Chris Migani went 2-for-3, also with three RBIs and two runs scored.
