For the third straight game, the women’s lacrosse team blew out their opponent.  On Friday it was Long Island’s turn to face the offensive juggernaut of the Bobcats.  With 13 goals in the first the Bobcats (4-4, 3-0 NEC) cruised to their third straight victory.

Five Bobcats scored two or more goals, led by Devon Gibney’s six in the first half.  Christine Sinnigen and Chelsea Guerrera each added three goals and assist.

The Bobcats opened up a close game by scoring seven straight goals to take a 12-2 in the first half.  The half would end with the Bobcats up 13-4.  The second half was not much different as the Bobcats pulled away even more, scoring 10 times to take the 23-9 victory
