The Bobcats fell out of the fourth and final playoff spot with a loss to Monmouth.  The Hawks beat the Bobcats 12-6.  The Bobcats are now tied for fifth place in the NEC with Central Connecticut State University.

The Bobcats jumped out early in the game, going up three nothing after two innings.  Joe Poletsky drove in the Bobcats forst run with a double to right.  Chris Migani followed with a single to center to bring in Poletsky.  The Bobcats added the third run in the second on Mike Bartlett single to right.

But the lead wouldn’t last long as the Hawks came back with four runs in the third and then three more in the fourth to go up 7-3.  They would never relinquish the lead.

The Hawks put up another three spot in the sixth to break the game open and all but end the game.

The Bobcats would three times between the seventh and eighth innings, but it was not enough as the Hawks cruised to victory.
