Gabe Guerino extended his hitting streak to seven games, but it was not enough as the Bobcats fell to Rhode Island 13-2.

The game was close until the Rams exploded for six runs in the sixth to break it open.  Until the sixth, Bobcat (3-22) starter George Dummar was having the best outing of his freshman year.  He finished five innings, giving up four runs on eight hits while striking out two.

After Dummar departed, the Bobcats’ bullpen preceded to implode, giving up nine runs over the last four innings.

Chris Migani highlighted the Bobcats offense with a homerun in the second that tied the game at two.
